Fixed prices, quoted before we start

Built properly. Shipped in weeks.

Websites and web apps that hold up once real people use them. A fixed-price first iteration in three to four weeks, or a production build scoped and quoted before anyone writes a line of code. You own all of it.

The difference

Most studios cannot tell you what it costs.

You get a discovery phase, an hourly rate, and a number at the end that nobody agreed to at the start. Scope creep is their upside, not their problem. We price the work before we do it.

The usual quote

Months, and a number at the end

  • Priced by the hour, so overruns are their upside
  • A discovery phase that bills before anything exists
  • Four months before you see anything real
  • Copy left as your job, then filled with placeholder
  • Handed over as a builder account you cannot leave
How Ummeo works

Weeks, and a number upfront

  • One fixed price, agreed before anyone starts building
  • Three to four weeks to something real and live
  • Copy written with you, because the words are the product
  • Production quality on the first version, not the third
  • Source, design files and domains yours from day one
What you get

What is actually in a build.

The first four come with every project, whichever price you start at. The last two are what separate a production app from a good-looking first version.

Design system

Type scale, colour, spacing and components, defined once and reused. Not a set of screens that happen to look similar, which is what you get when nobody builds the system.

Front-end engineering

Hand-built and fast. No page builder, no theme to fight, no plugin stack quietly breaking. It stays quick on a mid-range phone on a bad connection, which is where most of your traffic actually is.

Copy written with you

The words are the product. We write them from a session with you about how you actually sell, then edit them against what buyers keep asking. You will not get a draft full of placeholder to fill in yourself.

Accessible and fast

Keyboard navigation, real contrast ratios, sensible landmarks, and Core Web Vitals watched during the build rather than measured after it. Accessibility is cheaper as a decision than as a retrofit.

Accounts, data, integrations

Production tier. Auth and permissions that hold up, a data model that will not need unpicking in six months, and integrations wired to the real services: payments, CRM, booking, email.

Tests and a deploy pipeline

Production tier. Automated tests, continuous integration, and separate staging and production environments, so your team can ship without anyone debugging on live.

Studio projects

Five products, built end to end.

Self-directed builds, made to show how we work. Real client work is under NDA or in progress.

Marketing sites and full product surfaces: design systems, front-end, content architecture and the engineering underneath. Each one shipped as a complete, accessible, fast build.

How it works

Launch in weeks. Improve forever.

Here is what the first ninety days look like, and what keeps happening long after them.

Listen

A ninety-minute session on who buys from you, what they ask before they say yes, and what your site has to do. We write the plan; you approve it.

Week 1

Build

Design system, pages, copy and front-end. Fast, accessible, and yours. No page builder lock-in, no theme you have to fight later.

Weeks 2–4

Launch

Analytics, search console, structured data and speed budgets configured on day one, so we can tell what is working from the first visit.

Week 4

Hand over

Source code, design files and documentation, plus a working session with whoever maintains it. No licence, no account you have to keep paying for. It is yours. Most clients do keep us on to keep shipping, but that is a later conversation, never a condition of the build.

Week 4

0 From kickoff call to a live first iteration
0 Hours billed. We quote the work, we do not meter it
0 Ownership of code, design files and domains, from day one
Fixed If scope grows we requote, before doing the work
Pricing

Two ways to start. Both priced before we begin.

A fixed price for a real first version, or a scoped quote for a product with users and data behind it. No hourly billing, and you own the result either way.

First iteration

For getting something real in front of users, fast.

$6,500 fixed Three to four weeks, start to live
  • Discovery session and a written plan
  • A complete design system, not just screens
  • Up to 8 pages, or one core product surface
  • Real copy and content, written with you
  • Two rounds of revisions inside the build
  • Deployed on your domain, yours outright
Book a call

Prices in USD, excluding tax. Fixed quotes are fixed: if scope grows, we requote before doing the work rather than billing you for it afterwards.

After it goes live

Or we keep it running.

Optional, month to month, and never a condition of the build. The site is yours either way — this is us operating something you already own, not renting it back to you.

Basic

$149/month

Kept online, kept safe, kept current.

  • Uptime, certificate and broken-link monitoring
  • A monthly maintenance pass, with a plain-English summary
  • Everything found is logged as tracked work, not a monthly email
  • Small fixes and content edits as they come up

Growth

$349/month

Everything in Basic, plus getting found.

  • Everything in Basic
  • A local SEO article every month, written for your services and area
  • Page titles and descriptions kept sharp
  • A quarterly pass over content that has gone stale

Pro

$749/month

For a site that has to keep earning.

  • Everything in Growth
  • Content every two weeks instead of monthly
  • Written to be quotable by AI answer engines, not just ranked
  • Priority response, and a person who knows your account

Cancel any month and nothing stops working. You keep the code, the domain and the accounts, exactly as you would have anyway. There is no platform to be locked into and no version of this where walking away breaks your website.

Articles are drafted with AI and read by a person before they go anywhere. Nothing is published without your approval, and anything we could not verify comes to you flagged rather than invented.

Questions

Everything people ask before signing.

Something not covered? Ask us directly.

Because you are not buying pages, you are buying the decisions. A template gives you a layout and leaves the hard parts to you: what to say, what to lead with, what to cut, and how it behaves on a phone at 3am. We do that work, write the copy with you, build a design system rather than a set of screens, and hand it over as something you own. If a template genuinely covers what you need, use one. We will tell you when that is true.

That it survives contact with real users. Accounts and permissions that hold up, a data model that will not need unpicking in six months, integrations wired to the real services rather than mocked, automated tests, and separate staging and production environments so nobody is debugging on live. A first iteration proves the idea. This is the version you can put your name on.

Everything, on the day we hand it over. Source code, design files, domains, content and accounts are yours outright, with no licence and nothing held back. Nothing stops working if you never speak to us again. We do offer a monthly care plan afterwards, but it is optional, cancellable any month, and the site keeps running without it — that is the point of owning it.

For speed on the parts that benefit from it: first drafts of copy, alt text, structured data, and the tedious sweeps across a build. Every line of it is reviewed by a person before it reaches your site, and the design and engineering decisions are ours, not a model's. We are not reselling you a generated template.

Often, yes. If the foundation is sound we will improve what is there rather than charge you to rebuild it. If it is fighting you — a page builder you cannot escape, a theme nobody can maintain — we will say so plainly and quote a first iteration instead. The honest answer is worth more to us than the bigger invoice.
